ICY ROADS AND LAST NIGHT'S DVD
We got up this morning to a thin layer of ice covering everything outside. Driving looked like a very bad idea, and walking over the sidewalks looked even worse. There is no traffic on the street in front of our house, but there is a prediction of a warm front that may arrive in time to melt the mess before Mass at St. Bernard's this afternoon. Hopefully we will be able to drive and walk safely by then.
Last night's movie was "One Night with the King", the Old Testament Biblical account of Esther. If you plan to see it, read the Scripture account first so that it will be clear what is taking place. I didn't, and now I would like to read it and then watch the movie again.
