"JEWISH VIEWS ON CHRISTIANITY"

is the title of a blog post by Rabbi Dr. Louis Jacobs. The essay covers rabbinic, medieval, and modern attitudes, showing how they have changed through the centuries.

He discusses the Noahide laws, explaining that the prohibition against idolatry is modified by "'Shittuf' ('association' of another together with God) that could be applied to the Christian theology on Christ, and thus exempt a Christian from the penalties for idolatry that would otherwise apply to a belief in the Trinity.

He also compares the Christian Trinity to kabbalistic doctrine of the Sefirot which offers three and more aspects of the Deity.

Interesting essay.
