TONIGHT'S VIDEO - "THE MIRACLE OF MARCELINO"

is about an orphaned boy raised by Franciscans who, at the age of 6, manages to disrupt an entire town fair and get his friars evicted from their monastery. The situation is turned around when Christ comes down off the cross to comfort the boy; and the word of the miracle gets out, making the event into an annual festival.

The story is based on a novel and is presented in black and white. It was filmed by a Madrid company in Italy and Spain. Cinematically it isn't the greatest video you've ever seen, but the story makes up for what the video lacks. Good for the whole family.

This was another video from my parish lending library that I was able to borrow after Mass today.
