CATHOLIC ADVOCATES OF SAME SEX MARRIAGE

Coming out of weekend mode to blog an article sent in by a reader.

From WorldNetDaily:

An opponent of same-sex marriage in Massachusetts says he was barred from a public event at the State House in Boston in which two Catholic lawmakers were honored by a homosexual advocacy group.

Brian Camenker of the group Article 8 Alliance tried to attend the ceremony Thursday hosted by Religious Coalition for the Freedom to Marry. But he told WorldNetDaily a police officer angrily ordered him to leave after he was recognized by homosexual-rights advocates in attendance.

At the event, state Rep. Marie P. St. Fleur and state Sen. Marian Walsh told the audience their Catholic faith inspired them to support same-sex marriage, despite clear pronouncements against it from Pope John Paul II and Boston Archbishop Sean P. O'Malley.
